Research Interest/Specialty

My laboratory is currently interested in dissecting the molecular and cellular mechanisms associated with the development of sepsis. We are taking molecular, cellular, and genetic approaches to elucidate these mechanisms with the goal of developing novel therapeutic approaches for septic shock and improving outcomes of patients with severe sepsis.

Postdoctoral fellow positions are available. We are seeking candidates who are self-motivated and career-oriented. A strong background in molecular and cellular biology is essential. Experience with mouse model analysis is desirable.
