Research Description

Implementation of high resolution mass spectrometry (Waters Synapt G2-Si) to study protein dynamics in diffrent biological systems including cells, tissues and biofluids with a focus on:

Oxidative stress, inflammation and autoimmunity in age-related macular degeneration

Mitochondrial dysfunction in heart disease 

Phosphoproteome discovery in human pituitary; quantification of phosphorylated GH

Novel bioanalytical strategies for proteomics
